DIY Martirika

Making martirika (baptism witness pins) was much more time-consuming than I had imagined. Before you rush off to your local craft store, you need to committ several hours to making these, especially if the baptism is over 50 people. I wanted to create a unique look that had a pop of color and feminine touch.

You’ll need:

  • Size 2 gold safety pins
  • Beige ribbon
  • Gold and colored beads
  • Gold crosses. (I used “Jewelry Essential Findings” from Michael’s and spray painted them gold. They come in packs of 8 or 9.)
  • Gold jump rings
  • Scissors
  • Pliers
