‘Congraduation’ in New Orleans

This past weekend I took a trip to New Orleans to celebrate my boyfriend, Stefanos’ graduation from law school.

Did you know that sometimes Greek ladies mix up the words ‘congratulations’ and ‘graduation,’ by forming one word -”Congraduation”  (said in a heavy Greek accent). True story. This word has become a part of my every day diction around this time of year along with speaking in an old-Greek lady accent. Does that ever happen to you? This weekend was ALL about the ‘Congraduation.’ We had a crawfish boil, roamed the city and celebrated Stefanos’ accomplishments.  I’m so proud of him!
