I love a bouquet of simple flowers in a jar. For the most part, I wash and keep all my glass jars and find new ways to use them. I used a dill pickle jar for this bouquet since it was a bit wider. I also used a neon pink string from Home Depot, which is a true DIY delight. When using ribbon for bouquets, it’s nice to find a ribbon with a bit of wire so that it’s not floppy. No floppy bows, okay guys? Finish it off by cutting the ends with a slant for a cleaner look.
I saw mason jar flower bouquets sold in New York a few weeks ago, and I could not believe the price. Having a handmade arrangement just makes things more sunny and bright, and it doesn’ have to be pricey.
