If you’re like me, you don’t like checking-in luggage while traveling. What I find most challening is fitting all my liquids into that one tiny ziplock bag. I am not a fan of the typical carry-on bottle. The ones that aren’t squeezable are useless, and the ones that are squeezable are usually huge.
So I had to get clever to put it all in that one bag. Here are my tricks:
1) Convert old bottles into liquid carriers. To get around the non-squeeze bottles, I like to convert containers that you don’t have to squeeze.
This is an old eye-cream. I just cleaned it out.
And added some of my favorite hair product.
2) Put oil in a tiny spray bottle and use as lotion and hair serum. The spray bottles usually come with other liquid travel containers. Of course, I vote for Jojoba oil for all purpose.
3) Accumulate samples. When visiting Sephora or any beauty store, ask for samples. These tiny containers can hold more than you think (at least 2 weeks per container). I have a collection of face lotion, sunblocks, tinted moisturizers and perfumes.
4) Reuse. Once you are done with the container, wash it out and add more!
Bon voyage! More about my trip soon!
