DIY Almond + Cream Facewash

When I went to Pakistan for my friend, Nazneen’s wedding, her skin looked great! Her secret was a homemade almond face scrub. I never learned the ingredients of her scrub, so I decided to do my own research and make one myself! Almonds are good for evening out your skin tone.

Ingredients: 1/4 cup almonds (about 30), 4 tablespoons heavy cream, 1/2 lemon, 1/2 teaspoon honey, 3 drops almond oil, optional teaspoon of rosewater.

Grind almonds until powderlike. Now, I don’t own a food processor or a coffee grinder, which would be best, so I just double-bagged it and used a hammer!

Add the rest of the ingredients.

If you have dry skin, add a couple drops of almond oil (or your favorite oil) and honey.

Put in clean container and store in refrigerator, but don’t mistake it for hummus!

Remove make-up –> ( I used jojoba + cotton ball) –> Scrub with warm water –> Rinse

Isn’t she one of the most beautiful brides? I’m so blessed to have such a good friend!
